#rowansstars - raising awareness of babyloss one star at a time x
I started this project after our little boy Rowan was born sleeping on 20th September 2015. After many acts of kindness from
friends and strangers alike I wanted to return some of that love back and raise awareness for pregnancy and infant loss and
at the same time honour the name of our precious little boy - with that
Rowan's Stars was born!
My aim is to leave these random acts
of love dotted around the UK in hopes to make people smile and
hopefully spare a thought for anyone who has been affected by baby
loss. We plan to leave these handmade little stars with the
hashtag #rowansstars in public places all over the UK for people to find
as they busy themselves with their everyday lives. I hope these stars will raise awareness of baby loss and give people
the opportunity to talk openly about a subject that's all too often
brushed under the carpet!
Stars are available through our shop from £1.
I would love to see where you find your star and hear any stories you'd like to share too.
I will also be holding random auctions along the way through my page
Socksy Love to make memory keepsakes for you, with all proceeds going to
Sands and The Miscarriage Association who have been so helpful to us at
this sad time.
Please feel free to tag us on Instagram at #rowansstars if you find one. We'd love to see :)
